Login to www.dvdlink.ca with your email address and
password each time you wish to add films to your rental queue or check on your
account.
To add a film to your rental queue please find the film
you would like by searching for a particular title or choosing from our
collections, then click on "rent". You can have up
to 100 films in your queue.
We recommend you put at least 10-15 films in your rental queue to begin with and top up
regularly, to ensure that there are no delays in sending films to you.
Once you have about 10 films in your queue you will automatically be sent the
first available DVD. We cannot guarantee the exact order of sending as this
depends on availability of DVDs for a particular film. When you return a DVD we
will send the next available from your queue.
As soon as a DVD has been sent to you, you will receive
an email notification. Your rental queue will also be
updated to show disks returned and disks sent to you.
Please check your package details in My Account . If you have chosen a trial, you may become a full member at
any time by logging on, going to My Account and choosing Upgrade to Full Membership
Now.
You can check this in My
Account . If you have chosen a trial you will automatically
become a member unless you choose to cancel. If you do not wish to become a full
member, or continue with your membership you must cancel the day before your free trial
ends or your next payment is due.
Please refer to our FAQ section if you have any other queries or alternatively email us at service@dvdlink.ca .
DVDs are tough but fragile. With normal use, they will last longer than videotape. Here are a few pointers to keep in mind when using DVDs (either
DVDLink.ca's or your own) :
- Fingerprints and dust may cause a disc not to play. Do not touch the shiny side of the disc.
Store discs in their cases when not in use.
- Placing on a surface may cause scratches. Be certain the disc is secure in the case - a loose disc may be scratched by the case interior.
- Keep the disc away from moisture, dust and excessive heat.
- Do not attempt to clean a disc. If it will not play, please go to Report a Problem,
then return the DVD to Online DVD Rentals, Movies and Games Rental, DVD by Mail, Free Movie, Video and Game Rentals Service in Canada - DVDLink.ca with a note so that the DVD can be cleaned.
- If a disc is damaged, please go to Report a Problem, then return the DVD to
Online DVD Rentals, Movies and Games Rental, DVD by Mail, Free Movie, Video and Game Rentals Service in Canada - DVDLink.ca with a note so that the DVD can be
repaired or taken out of distribution.
